Called out...
Today as I'm grading math papers, I find myself amused by my student's creativity. They had to write a story problem for the number sentence 10-4=.
I couldn't help but smile as I read one little girls story problem about her single mother.
My mom had 10 bottles of wine. She drank 4 bottles. How many bottles of wine does she have left?
Hmm?? I wonder whats going on in that house. I love my kids. ;)

i can just imagine how mortified that mom would be if she knew what her daughter had written that.
